Monte Vista has the potential to earn amazing contributions through community fundraising programs.

We collect plastic bottles and aluminum cans only, and they should be bagged separately. Simply drop off your bags in the bike rack area on Wednesday mornings from 7:30-8:10 a.m. (weather permitting). The money that we earn is used to purchase PE equipment for grades K-6. It's a great way to help save our planet and support our school as well.

 SCRIP is fundraising while you shop! This program allows our school to raise money by selling gift cards for everyday expenses like food, clothing, and entertainment. Each scrip gift card purchase earns a rebate for the Monte Vista Foundation.
Additional Scrip is available, you can Browse by Category online and add additional items to your order form.
 All you have to do is collect box tops from participating General Mills products (cereal, fruit roll-ups, yoplait, etc). Each box top is worth .10 cents and will be donated to the Monte Vista PTA. Simply put them in an envelope or baggie and turn in to any teacher or the school office, anytime throughout the year.
Help the Monte Vista PTA earn merchandise points by collecting UPC barcodes of many campbell's products. This can be done by one of two ways: You can clip the UPC's and turn them into our school office, or if you are a Ralphs shopper, register your rewards card into this program and designate Monte Vista. Then, when you buy participating Labels for Education products and use your Ralphs Reward card, total points earned are automatically credited to our school.
 Register your Macy's card to support Monte Vista, call 800-254-5404. Purchases must be made with a Macy's card, registered with eScrip. Our school will automatically earn: 2% on monthly Macy's purchases up to $175, 4% on monthly Macy's purchases between $176-$300, 6% on monthly Macy's purchases between $301-$325.
 Support the Monte Vista Student Council every time you use your Target Visa or Target Guest Card at a Target store or target.com. Target will donate an amount equal to 1% of Target Visa and Target Guest Card purchases made at Target and Target.com, and 1/2 % of Target Vista purchases made elsewhere, to the eligible K-12 school of your choice.

In the store, you must tell the sales clerk, before they start to ring up the sale, that you want your purchase to support Monte Vista and he/she will look up our school code number. Online customers will be asked for school information including school name, address and city at the conclusion of your order, and the 5% credit will then be applied to our school based on qualifying purchases.

When students from Monte Vista enroll as a NEW student at KidsArt, our school Foundation will receive 50% of the first month tuition! Spreebird's School Rewards is a unique year-round fundraising opportunity for our school. When buyers purchase a deal, our school Foundation will receive a 10% donation. Simply designate the Monte Vista Elementary School Foundation to receive the donation. Go to www.spreebird.com/signup to sign up to receive the daily deal emails.
Note: Our school Foundation is currently on the waiting list to be enrolled in the program. The company only enrolls a certain amount of schools into the program each quarter. In the meantime, if you buy deals you can consider selecting any other school in our area to benefit until you see Monte Vista Elementary has a participating school.
